Seachtain na Gaeilge, or Irish week, is a global celebration from March 1–17th encouraging the use of the language at any level leading up to St. Patrick's Day on the 17th. This is our virtual event to join and we encourage you to also explore other communities or local events.

This event started in 1902 by Conradh na Gaeilge in Ireland as part of a revival effort since the use of the language was in decline and was at risk of being lost. It has since grown to a global celebration with events in many countries including people of all backgrounds.
